Background:

Projukti Peeth is a voluntary non-government development organization which was originated from a conference headed ‘Conference on Education Technology and Human Development’ organized with the presence of renowned Economist, Philosophers, Journalist, Intellectuals, Literalists, Development thinkers Social Researchers are working in the remotest areas of Bangladesh in 1995. Dr. Ahmed Sofa named it ‘Projukti Peeth’. Projukti Peeth started implementing its program with a mission to face problems like environmental problem, poverty, deforestation, deteriorating water quality, natural disaster, land degradation, salinity, Sanitation, Hygiene Education and Safe water supply etc.

To bring fundamental and sustainable improvement in the lives of disadvantaged, vulnerable and poor of the country.

Mission
Projukti Peeth works with the hard-core poor people; poverty, illiteracy, disease and other social barriers dominate their livelihood. The organization is committed to make sustainable through innovative ideas and action research process. Projukti Peeth believes and is actively involved in promoting human dignity, children rights, gender equity and human rights establishment.
